Walter Skor History

In 1942, Walter Skor was a top illustrator in New York. Many of his friends were fine artists using many styles. Walter was asked by many of these friends to manufacture picture frames worthy of the gallery and museum showings that these artists used. Mr. Skor chose to make only the finest quality frames using rare woods and only genuine gold and linen.

In 1996, Mr. Skor died. The company was puchased by reknowned artist Howard Cuveron who has committed to keep the quality and designs made famous by Walter, and to innovate in areas of product design, manufacturing and technology.

In 1999, we've relocated to Bristol, New Hampshire. This move allowed us access to fine wood materials, reliable labor and the fine New England tradition for high quality craftmanship. We look forward to many years of service for our customers and friends.
